Medical ID bracelets

A medical ID bracelet – also called a medical alert or SOS bracelet – tells others the most important things about you when you cannot. You choose the text yourself: name, emergency contact and, for example, a condition, an allergy or the medication you take.

Who benefits from a medical ID bracelet?

Many people with diabetes, epilepsy, severe allergies, heart conditions or blood thinners wear an ID bracelet so others can quickly see what is important to know. It can also be relevant if you have a rare condition or cannot speak for yourself in an emergency.

The bracelet is also a reassuring choice for running, cycling and other activities where you do not carry a phone or wallet.

What should an SOS bracelet say?

Write what a first responder needs to know first. For example:

  • Your name
  • ICE (“In Case of Emergency”) and the phone number of a relative
  • A condition or allergy, e.g. “Type 1 diabetes”, “Epilepsy” or “Allergy: penicillin”
  • Important medication, e.g. “On blood thinners”

The adult models have room for 5–6 lines with up to 24 characters per line, and Kids has room for 4 lines. You see the engraving live on the bracelet before you order.

Online emergency profile: more details than the plate can hold

Choose the online emergency profile and we engrave a personal ID and a PIN on the back of the bracelet. You fill in the profile yourself: contacts, allergies, medication and anything else a first responder should know. Whoever finds you looks up the ID and PIN and sees exactly what you chose to show.

You decide which fields are shown and can change or deactivate the profile at any time. Health details require your explicit consent. You can create a profile for yourself, for your child under 18 or for another adult with their consent.

The emergency profile is a yearly subscription that you can cancel at any time. The details are entered by you and are not checked by Mynaro. Always call 112 in an emergency.

Materials, fit and durability

The plate is nickel-free stainless steel and the text is laser-engraved in the steel. Most models have a latex-free silicone strap. Duo, Stripe, Pure and Core have an adjustable strap that is cut to fit your wrist.

The bracelet withstands water from bathing and swimming and needs no care, so you can wear it all the time. Sea water can wear the engraved text over time.

Good to know

An ID bracelet is not a medical device and does not replace treatment or contact with healthcare services. It is a simple way to carry your most important details with you.

We engrave and make the bracelet within 1–2 working days and ship it with the delivery option you choose.
